Background Housing exclusion and homelessness of young people is a topic that remains overlooked in current housing policies and discussions on poverty and socio-economic exclusion. Within the group of young people at increased risk of housing exclusion and homelessness, young LGBTIQ + people are a particularly vulnerable group. Many organizations that address homelessness do not have specific services for young people, nor are they equipped and sensitive to the specifics of working with LGBTIQ + young people. Working with young LGBTIQ + people who experience housing exclusion and / or homelessness shows the shortcomings of the services available to them, the outreach strategies of youth work and difficult access to support services. The issue of housing exclusion, which goes beyond homelessness in the most basic sense of the word, and also includes less visible forms of inadequate living conditions, which increase the risk of homelessness among young people, remains unnoticed. It is this blind spot that points to the potential for preventive work and support services that would reduce risks. The project will address the needs of young (LGBTIQ +) people, especially those at increased risk of housing exclusion or homelessness and those who already have this type of experience. Through the work we do with these young people and through existing research focusing on them we can see the need for preventive work, better outreach strategies, services that support their social inclusion and youth / professional work that can address their specific needs. These needs go beyond the housing issue and include associated problems, such as mental health problems, psychosocial problems, poorer inclusion in the school system, problems in relations with parents / guardians, etc. The project will also address the needs that
