The beekeeping craft has long been represented by the older generation, and from year to year the average age is moving higher, which is not good news for this important craft. Young people are willing to take care of bee colonies, but often do not know where to start. Therefore, it is important that they have a close way (online courses) to find their way around this craft. The most important thing for us was to process high-quality, yet simple audio-video materials and offer them in a simple form. Another goal was to bring beekeepers closer to the unique type of beekeeping in Slovenian AZ hives. This beekeeping is completely different from beekeeping in classic hives. Beekeeping in AZ hives is not only unconventional, but it can also beautifully present various specifics of bee behavior and the beekeeper can better understand his own bees.
