Objectives

The project had several main objectives, which were aimed at meeting the needs of the modern world of work and vocational education. Firstly, the project supported employers in mapping the diversity in their organisations and developing diversity management strategies. This should help create an inclusive working environment where all employees are treated equally, regardless of their background. Secondly, the project aimed to educate employees about diversity issues and provide them with a range of resources to help them advocate for diversity in their workplace. This should raise awareness of diversity issues and encourage employees to actively contribute to creating an inclusive work environment. Thirdly, the project aimed to upskill VET professionals so that they could use the full range of DIVERSITe outputs and gain confidence in working and teaching in online environments. This should help to improve the quality and relevance of VET and promote continuing professional development and lifelong learning.
