By implementing this project, we aimed to achieve the following objectives: Better understand the profile of our students and see how they were able to manage a blended learning course and identify the obstacles they face. Exchange practices and know-how between our institutions on the implementation of blended learning courses for adult learners. Strengthen the skills of teachers so they can adapt their teaching methods to better meet students' needs. Enhance teachers' overall skills, particularly in digital and blended learning techniques. Improve our students' learning-to-learn skills, empowering them to be more autonomous and effective in their studies. Through these objectives, we sought to create a more flexible, inclusive, and effective educational environment for adult learners, leveraging blended learning to meet their unique needs and circumstances.

We have implemented the following activities in our project: We started by getting to know each other as institutions, exploring our work methods and tools to establish a solid foundation for collaboration. We researched our staff's needs in the development of new teaching and digital skills to ensure they are well-equipped for blended learning. We investigated the barriers to blended learning and identified good practices, exchanging these practices among partner institutions to enhance our approaches. We focused on helping our students improve and develop their learning-to-learn capacity, making them more autonomous and effective learners. These activities were structured in four key phases detailed in our application form: 1) Blended learning: better know each other, identify the barriers of our learners (Belgium, Sep-Dec 2022). 2) Blended learning: exchange of know-how and practices for staff (Cyprus, Jan-Jun 2023). 3) Blended learning: exchange of know-how and practices at the benefit of adult learners (Spain, Jul 2023-Apr 2024). 4) Blended learning: results in our institutions, communication, conclusions, and future perspectives (Belgium, May-Aug 2024).

The main results of our project are: We identified 24 good practices for teachers and students, enhancing our educational approaches. We developed and implemented 6 blended learning courses, with each partner institution contributing 2 courses. We gained an improved understanding of 3 educational systems, broadening our perspectives and strategies. We successfully conducted 4 transnational project meetings, fostering collaboration and exchange of ideas. We significantly improved our capacity to develop and implement a blended learning approach, benefiting both our staff and students. These concrete outputs demonstrate the substantial progress we made in enhancing blended learning practices across our institutions, ultimately contributing to better educational outcomes for our adult learners.
