โถActivities
The partners involved in the Psycholog project applied for this initiative to address critical needs related to the mental health and well-being of refugees and asylum seekers. The project emerged from a collective recognition of the challenges faced by these vulnerable groups, particularly in the context of forced migration, trauma and the psychosocial impact of their experiences. The social and political landscape in partner countries reflects the increasing influx of refugees and asylum seekers, highlighting the urgent need for comprehensive mental health support. In addition to the ongoing challenges related to the usual influx of refugees and asylum seekers, the social and political landscape in partner countries has been significantly impacted by the recent Ukrainian refugee flow. Individuals fleeing conflict zones often experience severe traumas and stressors, including exposure to violence, displacement and the loss of loved ones. These traumatic events can significantly contribute to mental health challenges, necessitating immediate and sustained psychological support. The COVID-19 pandemic has further underscored the importance of digital platforms and tools in delivering mental health services.
