The primary objective of this project was to empower individuals and institutions with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the EU Green Deal and Just Transition. We recognized the critical need to: -Bridge the knowledge gap: Address the significant lack of understanding among students, graduates, and policymakers regarding the EU Green Deal, its implications, and the Just Transition Mechanism. -Develop essential skills: Equip individuals with the green skills and competencies necessary to thrive in a sustainable economy, including knowledge of climate change mitigation, renewable energy technologies, circular economy principles, and social justice considerations. - Foster a culture of sustainability: Promote a deeper understanding of the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of the Green Deal and encourage active participation in the transition process. - Support informed policymaking: Provide policymakers and stakeholders with evidence-based insights and policy recommendations to inform the development and implementation of effective Just Transition strategies.
