▶Objectives
Through the implementation of the project, the Future Work 4s consortium aimed to develop a gamified open online course (MOOC), designed to equip academic students and learners with four transversal skills anticipated to be in high demand in the labor market and society during the 4th industrial revolution: digital competencies, green skills and environmental awareness, entrepreneurship and innovation, and social skills. The primary objective of the project was to create a future-oriented, transdisciplinary curriculum that integrates these four areas into a single, comprehensive program accessible to students and lifelong learners across all disciplines. The course leverages innovative digital pedagogies, including gamified learning, project-based learning, and interactive exercises, to deliver an engaging and inspiring learning experience. Additionally, the consortium sought to empower female learners, who are underrepresented in many sectors, to generate more advanced opportunities in the coming decades, including digital and green jobs, as well as entrepreneurship.
