Objectives

By implementing the project objectives, we wanted to offer easily accessible practices to support primary school teachers in their work to improve children's self-esteem. We also provided guidance to parents on how to increase children's emotional intelligence and confidence. In the Handbook, we collected best practices for building children's confidence across the EU and presented them in teacher training so that teachers could use them to strengthen children's emotional intelligence and confidence. Through various activities in the workshops, parents received additional support on how to help their children develop emotional intelligence. Children's actions were encouraged through various contacts with peers and activities to strengthen socio-emotional skills.

Activities

Through the implementation of this project, we provided teachers with a Good Practices Guide and a quality online educational resource with training. Teachers gained skills and knowledge, and were also introduced to activities that they can use in their classroom. This is especially important for children with low self-esteem. Teachers learned and gained new skills on how to improve their relationships with parents regarding students' confidence issues. The project organized workshops for parents, through which they supported their impact on the emotional-intelligence development of their children. Mobile Resource Portal - an online resource for short-term training. We chose the short-term training method for teachers and parents because the modules are small, self-contained units of information. With this method, we get three key advantages: It takes less time to learn and is more flexible. Shorter sessions are suitable for today's learners. The demand for mobile learning is growing.
