Objectives

By providing educators with contemporary, simple-to-use resources and tools, STEM by STEM project aimed to meet the demand for effective and engaging STEM education. In order to assist students develop a strong foundation in science and technology, the project sought to spark their interest in STEM from a young age by equipping teachers with interactive lesson plans. Through the development of a the Toolkit for developing STEM lessons, the Online Wiki and conducting several teacher training events, the project aimed to boost educators’ confidence and skills in designing and delivering high-quality, interactive lessons in key STEM fields, such as programming, robotics, electronics, and 3D printing. All project activities were designed with the idea to to foster teachers’ creativity and help them design and deliver effective STEM education; to tackle students’ disinterest and low academic performances in STEM fields by promoting interest in those topics, making them more attractive and understandable; integrate modern teaching practices and promote the use of digital tools in education.
