The project aimed to implement a series of targeted activities that supported multiple aspects of the education and social integration of children and youth with visual impairments. Its primary objective was to improve the overall educational experience of visually impaired students by ensuring equal and unhindered access to textbooks, supplementary literature and learning materials. This goal was accomplished through the creation of an inclusive, accessible and supportive learning environment that encouraged the active participation of these students in the secondary education system. Beyond its main objective, the project also defined three specific goals that further reinforced its mission. These goals addressed both the academic and social needs of visually impaired youth, with the intention of promoting long-term inclusion, personal development and equal opportunities for success in both school and society.
