โ–ถSummary

The "Include and Innovate in School Education" project was initiated to address the growing digital divide in school education, particularly among students from ethnic minorities and disadvantaged backgrounds. The project was designed in response to the urgent need to enhance digital competencies among educators and students, ensuring inclusive and innovative teaching practices. Rapid digitalization in education has widened the gap between well-equipped and underprivileged schools, leaving many students at a disadvantage. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the necessity for solid digital skills among teachers to maintain quality education in all circumstances. Through this project, we sought to empower educators with the necessary digital tools and methodologies while fostering student engagement through interactive and inclusive learning approaches.

โ–ถObjectives

The "Include and Innovate in School Education" project aimed to enhance digital competencies among educators and students, ensuring more inclusive and effective learning experiences. Our primary objective was to bridge the digital gap by equipping teachers with innovative teaching methodologies, digital tools, and pedagogical strategies tailored for diverse classrooms. By fostering digital literacy, we aimed to improve student engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes, particularly for those from ethnic minorities and disadvantaged backgrounds. Additionally, the project sought to promote transnational collaboration among educational institutions, allowing for the exchange of best practices and innovative approaches. Through structured training, resource development, and hands-on activities, we aimed to create a sustainable framework for integrating digital tools into everyday teaching, ensuring long-term benefits for educators and students alike.

โ–ถActivities

The "Include and Innovate in School Education" project implemented key activities to enhance digital competencies. It began with a Training Needs Report, assessing educators' digital skills. Based on this, a Training Programme and Training Package were developed, equipping teachers with digital methodologies. A Toolkit for Students introduced interactive resources, while the Guide for School Application ensured sustainable digital integration. Three Transnational Project Meetings (TPMs) were held: Kick-off Meeting in Bulgaria, IO Development Meeting in Portugal, and Final Meeting in North Macedonia. A Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) in Spain trained staff from partner organizations. Additionally, four Multiplier Events (Teacher Trainings) were organized in Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Portugal, and Spain, targeting 50 teachers per country. These activities strengthened digital inclusion, improved teaching practices, and ensured sustainable impact in school education.
