โ–ถObjectives

The main objective of the project was to train with up-to-date educational resources unemployed individuals, unskilled workers, and others, e.g. recent graduates, to improve their knowledge and skills, ultimately enhancing their employability in Cyprus, Greece, Malta, and across the EU. The training courses were designed to provide valuable insights into key topics identified by the stakeholders and consortium during the project's initial phase (i.e. Activity 3). These topics included emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Data Analytics, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR), and essential soft skills (e.g. communication, leadership and more). The primary goal was to increase their employability , enable them to participate in the digital transformation, stay informed about current trends and need, as well as increase their chances to be hired in higher paying jobs. By fostering these skills, the project not only aimed to benefit individuals but also support the EU labor market's digital transformation, increasing overall competitiveness and productivity.

The activities implemented included: A1. Project website and Social media presence: dissemination via a Facebook page (> 100 followers), created and uploaded 28 YouTube videos (> 400 views), and a project website with all project information and news A2. Learning management system: adapted the educational material and included recorded sessions, as well as automated CERTIFICATE generation based on QUIZ results for each topic/subtopic (45 users, 1550 views, 96% average grade) A3. Activities related to research for the identification of areas, participants, and focus topics: by combining research, interviews (10) and questionnaires (62 stakeholders) across the 3 countries, which resulted in a report on labour market needs A4. Development of the educational material: based on stakeholder feedback and target group needs, the partners developed 5 focus topics related to soft and hard skills A5. Training activities: conducted 26 hybrid sessions, a combination of physical and online (5 joined hybrid and 11 physical), via Zoom (recorded). In total, more than 396 participants attended: 312 in person and 84 virtually A6. Multiplier events: conducted 3 events with over 120 participants, also had the successful inauguration of the ECT forum

โ–ถImpact

Created 5 topics (with 4-5 subtopics each), which is available in multiple channels (CLASS365 LMS platform, YouTube playlist, website). The users through the online classroom also have access to additional material and have the ability to generate an automated certificates upon completion of the QUIZZES of each topic/subtopic 5.
