SMEs, which are the backbone of Europe's economy, were hit hard by the pandemic, and many lacked the skills or resources to adapt to new market conditions. This project targeted their need for innovative training, particularly around green business practices and digital transformation, to not only recover but also future-proof their businesses. The project addressed the EU priorities of environmental sustainability, digital readiness, and vocational training innovation. We aimed to provide SMEs with open educational resources (OER), best practices, and a virtual community to foster collaboration and skill development. By empowering SMEs to integrate green practices and digital tools, the project sought to enhance their competitiveness, ensure sustainable growth, and contribute to climate change mitigation efforts.

The primary objective of this project was to equip SMEs and entrepreneurs with the necessary skills and resources to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and achieve sustainable growth. We aimed to provide them with the tools to adapt to the evolving market landscape, with a strong focus on environmental sustainability and digital transformation. By creating Open Educational Resources (OER) and fostering a virtual community, we sought to empower participants to incorporate green business practices, enhance their digital skills, and improve their overall business resilience. Through the project, we intended to create a lasting impact by enabling SMEs to think and act in a more sustainable and innovative way, fostering collaboration among participants via the virtual community, and ultimately contributing to their long-term growth and competitiveness. The project was fully aligned with EU priorities to support entrepreneurship, enhance employability, and contribute to the fight against climate change.
