Training Young People on Sexually Related Online

Objectives The project focuses at equipping young people and teenagers with the necessary knowledge, skills and tools to prevent being exposed to sexually related online risks and threats (sexting, sextortion, grooming, revenge porn, sexual abuse), through the development, piloting and implementation of a series of interactive workshops. Activities The following activities are envisioned to take place during the project implementation: * A Kick off meeting in Brussels; * A project website; * Design of 6 interactive workshops on sexually related online risks and threats; * Pilot Testing of interactive workshops with teenagers and young adults; * Implementation & Impact Evaluation of interactive workshops; * 2nd project meeting in Cyprus Impact * Increased knowledge on sexually related online risks of teenagers and young adults; * Recognizing the tactics and strategies used by online offenders in their attempt to victimize young people through sexual activities over the internet; * Enhanced competences and skills regarding how to avoid sexually related online risks; * Identification of reporting mechanisms; * Enhanced non-formal education approaches to meet the needs of young adults and teenagers; Link to project card: Show project card * Results are available for this project.
