Objectives

We aimed to -Raise awareness about internet addiction, -Promote healthy and beneficial leisure activities, -Encourage co-operation to combat internet addiction, -Prevent students from becoming addicted to the internet, -Increase the skills of our pupils in the area of communication, participation and cooperation, -Increase language competences, -Promote mutual understanding, -Promote learning mobility of groups, as well as cooperation, quality, creativity and innovation at the level of participating schools. The activities in the project served for development of key competences which helped the pupils to overcome their internet use-related addiction problems. These key competences are literacy, multilingual, digital, personal, social and learning to learn, citizenship, cultural awareness and expression. By developing these competences pupils are now more aware of their problem and take an action against it. By overcoming their addiction the pupils will be more successful in their academic life and recover from the health issues resulting from excessive use of the internet. The project also supported the teachers in the area of problem solving and adopting an innovative approach to a global problem.
