▶Objectives
THE ROAD intended to support and highlight the positive side of migration based on adult education because it plays an important role in shaping the future of our society, it represents a means to create inclusive societal systems through informal, formal and non-formal educational activities. Our target group was represented by Sinti and Roma women from North Rhine Westphalia region, generally speaking adult women with fewer opportunities, who for different reasons, have been facing obstacles that prevent them from having equal access to the society where they live and the labour market. In this context, our objectives were: - reaching out to Roma people, women facing fewer opportunities, encourage mutual inspiration and motivation amongst them, - support the development of a local learning environment – assist the target group to sett up a non-profit association for Roma women, meant to improve their social and professional opportunities - provide Roma women with opportunities to develop key competences they need in order to integrate and adapt to the society, including digital skills - increase the quality in the work and practices of the organisations involved
