First and foremost, we wanted to further consolidate and stabilise the educational network that had already been established in a previous project with Luxembourg, as well as expand the corresponding offerings and the development of the educational network to Belgium. To this end, a multi-day and multilingual barcamp was to be organised in Luxembourg with basic seminars, hands-on workshops and open-space offerings, and multilingual training materials were to be created. The objectives were to highlight the global context of food waste, to internationalise the educational work and to enable the further training of multipliers. In addition, an understanding of shared ethical values in the form of personal consumption and commitment, political engagement and participation for a necessary food transition was to be sought. Methods of self-awareness and self-reflection should also be consciously trained.
