▶Objectives
The EduSkills+ portal "My body, my emotions", the handbook and the app/eBook "This is me!" aim to provide parents and other caregivers of children with a broad knowledge of sexuality, role models and gender diversity in additional languages in an objective, easy-to-understand, accessible and fact-based way and to make it clear that these three aspects should not be viewed in isolation from each other. So that children at different stages of development could develop essential competencies to shape their sexuality and relationships in a self-determined way, it is important that they and their adult caregivers know about their bodies at an early age, discuss myths, and confidently deal with stereotypes. Considering different discourses in European countries, the aim was to give parents competent support to answer children's questions in a simple way. The app/eBook for children "This is me!" links different topics, adapted to the children's life worlds and experiences. Especially during puberty, young people often do not dare to openly ask questions about physical processes.
