▶Summary
The MAPLE project was applied to tackle needs concerning environmental and climate change challenges. The needs that the project addressed were: -Climate Change issues -Promoting Environmental Awareness:The project used an open e-blog to educate individuals and organizations about green technologies and eco-friendly solutions and their role in reducing environmental problems. -Facilitating Knowledge Sharing: Recognizing the significance of knowledge sharing and collaboration among partner countries within the EU this project addressed the need, for exchanging practices, innovative solutions, and emerging trends related to technologies and sustainability. -Vocational education and training(VET): The project developed an open digital toolkit for VET institutions to enhance education on green technologies and sustainable practices, preparing them for environmentally friendly careers. - Engaging youth: Engaging youth is vital for long-term sustainability efforts. The project aimed to inspire and educate young people by showcasing successful environmentally friendly projects and solutions, encouraging them to consider business and entrepreneurship that puts sustainability first.
▶Objectives
The project MAPLE aimed to achieve several key objectives through its implementation: Mapping Green Technological Solutions: The project aimed to identify and list 10 green technical solutions in each participating country that combat climate change through an open-source interactive blog. The platform provides insights for policymakers, academia, employers, training providers, and government on best practices available across EU partner countries in the project MAPLE. Raising Environmental Awareness: Using the interactive blog to raise environmental awareness on green solutions across partner countries. Sharing best practices amongst European countries & collating new trends available from the provider of sustainable and Greentech solutions across different regions of the participating countries.
