▶Objectives
We wanted to achieve these points with the Green-PRO project: 1. Learn and Apply Green Practices: To help entrepreneurs learn and use eco-friendly practices. The 25-hour digital training taught practical and theoretical skills for getting involved in the green economy. 2. Training Modules: Created a useful training program with 6 modules to improve participants' green and job-related skills. It covered different green practices that businesses could use. 3. Environmental Awareness: Raised awareness about environmental impacts among entrepreneurs. Guided them in making eco-friendly choices in their businesses. 4. Following European Green Deal: Contributed to making EU start-ups more eco-friendly, aligning with the goals of the European Green Deal. 5. Specialized Platform: Made a platform that connects entrepreneurs to each other and lets them share good practices/knowledge. 6. Helping Europe Go Green: The project played a part in making Europe more sustainable by teaching green skills and supporting a move to a climate-friendly economy.
▶Activities
1. Digital VET Program Development: Initiated a 25-hour digital training program through a 4-day co-creation meeting in Istanbul led by the Leaf Association. The program aimed to guide businesses towards green practices. EDI and Green Muse e.V. took the lead in designing VET content. The meeting location was changed from Brussels to Istanbul because of visa problems Leaf Association experienced. 2. Digital Platform Creation: Under Green Muse e.V.'s coordination, the 'Green-PRO' digital platform was established for project activities. EDI led software development of the Green-PRO Platform. 3. Training Activities and Mobility: Implemented a 25-hour digital program on Zoom over 7 days. A 6-day Green-PRO Mobility in Düsseldorf was offered in-person. The online training was planned as 21 days in the application form, however, the plan was changed to 7 days during the midterm meeting by considering the daily workloads of entrepreneurs. 4. Dissemination Activities: Each partner organized a local dissemination activity by showcasing the Green-PRO VET program and platform to 25 participants. Online sharing of experiences by two mobility participants demonstrated platform usage, highlighting the project's impact on the target audience.
▶Impact
Besides the mobility activities in Düsseldorf and local dissemination activities, there are two concrete outputs in the project: 1- Green-PRO Digital VET Program: We developed a practical 25-hour digital training program called 'Green-PRO Digital VET Program.' Crafted during a collaborative meeting, it equips entrepreneurs with essential skills to adopt sustainable practices in their businesses. This program covers six modules, providing valuable insights for promoting eco-friendly approaches in their ventures. 2- Green-PRO Digital Platform: We created the 'Green-PRO' digital platform with the coordination of Green Muse e.V. and software development by EDI. The platform offers free access to the Green-PRO Digital VET Program content. The platform is user-friendly, ensuring easy navigation. It not only provides essential training resources but also connects entrepreneurs, fostering collaboration for sustainable business practices. The website can be accessed via this link https://green-pro.org/ and the platform can be accessed on the website.
