Objectives

Implementing an Erasmus+ project had several overarching objectives that worked and continue to work on an individual, institutional and societal level. Here are the main objectives: 1. Promoting technical and scientific excellence through skills development in robotics 2. Promoting international cooperation and knowledge transfer through networking between institutions. 3. Innovation and social benefits through the development of new technical solutions. The project aimed to develop innovative approaches to real-world problems 4. Promoting education and lifelong learning by improving the quality of education through the development of new curricula, innovative learning methods and the use of cutting-edge technology. In summary, the objective of this project was to promote the technical, technological and professional development of participants while strengthening international cooperation, innovation and social benefits. It also contributed to digitalization and equal opportunities in Europe and made a valuable contribution to solving global challenges.

Activities

In this project, activities were carried out with the aim of completing two functional greeting robots by the end of the project. The activities systematically built on one another. All students started school at the start of the project and left after two years at the end of the project. The activities were therefore largely part of the curriculum. During the activities, the following subjects were taught: programming, processing metal and other materials, sensor technology, drive technology, energy management.

Impact

The project was intended to produce two greeting robots that would be as helpful as possible to visitors as well as to the school's own students and teachers. The help was to consist of answering simple questions and, for example, accompanying guests to rooms using a QR code sent in advance. The robots were developed and built independently and cooperatively.
