▶Objectives
The project aimed to promote the digital transformation of the retail sector with a focus on rural areas of the participating partner countries by providing VET providers/trainers with an effective training programme. This integrates digital content, increases the knowledge of the partner organisations and is tailored to the individual needs of retail employees. These were identified through a survey in the rural regions of the partner countries and subsequently confirmed through expert interviews on future challenges with the other project target groups of VET providers/trainers and employees of chambers/associations. This analysis, published at https://e-seller.erasmus.site/report/, served as a guideline for further project activities and sensitises employees of chambers and associations to make adjustments in order to promote competitiveness and employment at local and regional level. At the same time, the research report can also make a contribution at European level to the development of joint funding and solution approaches for the requirements of the rural labour market.

▶Impact
The project partners have produced the following concrete results: WP2: e-SELLER Digital Report, which identifies existing digital skills, needs and challenges based on a survey of retail workers and expert interviews in the partner countries. WP3: e-SELLER Training Programme, which supports VET providers/trainers in strengthening the digital skills of retail employees. It consists of training modules on e-retail technologies and soft skills, video tutorials and rotating e-cards. WP4: E-learning platform on which the digitalised training content can be processed and the acquired knowledge can be independently reviewed and deepened. All results are available in English, German, Greek and Polish for free and unrestricted use on the project website for at least another two years after the end of the project. The outstanding cooperation and the profitable exchange of knowledge between the partners led to a European network of experts that is developing further projects based on the project findings and results, e.g. the follow-up project Green Seller.
