Allies For Life
▶Summary
Objectives Through the “Allies For Life” project, we want to especially support young refugees from Ukraine on the personal, social and societal level. They will develop competences for participation, experience opportunities for civic engagement by co-creating events, and develop ideas for society with an ecological, inclusive and/or digital emphasis in dialogue events. These are then implemented in long-term projects. Activities On the personal level, soft skill workshops, for example on mindfulness, are implemented. Additionally, educational support is provided locally. On the social level, cultural events are co-created, and forums are opened for developing sustainable, inclusive and/or digital initiatives for society. On the societal level, participants receive input on leadership qualities and implement an own initiative within the framework of a coaching program. Impact Through the project, refugees are supported on a personal level and in finding orientation. Connections and communication improve between youth from the region and refugees, and a network for youth wishing to implement societal ideas emerges. Refugees develop perspectives and practical ideas are created. In the context of projects, corresponding practical initiatives are implemented sustainably, fostering civic engagement.
