Objectives

The main objective of our project was to increase awareness and widen knowledge of the importance of sustainability among people from our communities, but also around the world. Thanks to transnational cooperation in our project we wanted to increase the understanding of the topic of the project by - building the networking to solve common problems, - generating and sharing knowledge among partners, - inspiring motivation, - enabling better promotion of innovative activities, - integrating different points of view, - giving diversity of approaches, - inspiring innovation, - learning tolerance. Thanks to international cooperation: - Different approaches were presented, different places connected with project topic were visited and thanks to these students learnt about the importance of sustainability faster, more efficiently, using every media possible. - A wide range of puzzles, mysteries, curiosities (in each subtopic) were found, presented and offered a great opportunity to exchange ideas, thoughts and predictions. - Researching the topic, finding information by visiting and obeserving the places of nature was carried out widely in four different countries.

Activities

In the project we realised the following activities implemented during each international meeting in every partner country and contiunued during the whole time of the project duration while organising school life: - Mysterious World of Energy - research of sustainable energy sources highligting the importance of them nowadays (workshops, school lab experiments, students' project presentation). - Unknown Life on Our Known Land – discovering different ways of sustainable foods' explorations in nowadays world (students class gardens', project work connected to natural food growing as well as outdoor activities such as planting andtaking care of plants, especially fruit plants, trees and bushes) - Unexplained Phenomena - research on interesting facts concerning life on Earh and living in harmony with nature (students science and anture clubs, presentations for younger students, visiting Geo Park and Technology Park) - Be Cool and Recycle - activity promoting recycling (visiting recycling centres, workshops connected to recycling)

Impact

As we planned, we have achieved the following results: - the photo albums published as digital photo brochures - Mysterious World of Energy and Unexplained Phenomena, - a library of films and presentations about Unknown Life on Our Known Land - published on the project facebook webpapge, - a digital doumentation with impacts of the recycle activities on the awareness of sustainability importance in the communities connected to partner schools, - a photo album documenting activities connected to Unexplained Phenomena Lab and Power Point Presentations created by particpants of the project and published on facebook project webpage, - facebook webpage of the project. These results were shared with wider public and we successfully realised the following ideas: 1. increasing the participants' awareness of the importance of learning about sustainability, 2. making sustainability attractive to young people by presenting it through mysteries, experiments, workshops and school events, 3. improving students’ skills of teamwork and cooperation, 4. increasing the participation of pupils with the greatest educational needs (in unfavourable situation), 5.promoting an active citizenship, especially as a commitment to values of democracy.
