Summary

Objectives Get a Life! strengthens the European youth NGO´s capacity to support young peoples´ transition to active and responsible adulthood. The project creates and disseminates Get A Life! online Toolbox for youth workers and trains them to use it so that they have capacity to support and empower young people into adulthood and working life. At the same time, we build a European network of youth NGOs and youth workers who support youth into adulthood. Activities Get a Life! does project management activities and organises project meetings. We build Get a Life! online Toolbox with five thematic areas and use non-formal education approach and coaching as a method. Get a Life! training course trains youth workers to use the toolbox with an inclusive approach in coaching youth from various backgrounds and with different challenges and capacities. Through multiplying activities, Get a Life! reaches potential users of the Toolbox and strengthens the impact of Impact As a result of Get a Life! project, youth NGO’s and youth workers have a Toolbox, a more defined role and more capacity to support youth into adulthood. The youth that need the most support are being supported through inclusive coaching practices and their transitioning into adulthood and working life is easier. The youth NGO’s have a network where they can continue working on the topic and build future cross-national collaborations.
