Objectives

The objectives of the "Stay Informed- Stay Safe" project are: - to actively participate in the anti-fake news actions that take place around the world, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic; - to actively participate in the fight against online fraud, especially in Europe, as, according to a report by the European Central Bank (ECB), fraudulent transactions account for €1.8 billion annually; - to help adult people 55-75 years old be more confident and feel safer while using the internet; - to enrich the available tools of trainers and/or institutions who are involved in the field of adult training; - to engage low-skilled adults in digital learning; - to raise awareness on the online fraud and fake news phenomena; - to offer a a complete and satisfying experience to low-skilled adults that will attend the courses, in order to encourage them to actively participate in other adult learning activities, too and always stay active and eager to enhance their knowledge in several fields;

Impact

Three workshops held in Athens Greece with a total number of 72 participants Four workshops held in Giessen Germany with a total number of 50 participants Two dissemination workshops in Athens and Germany for the dissemination of the project's objectives, activities, participant organizations and ways to use the project as a tool to increase our impact in our local region and communities. Further results on non quantitative, but of qualitative nature were the impact of our organizations contributing to improve the social life of our communities. these results helped us create new strategic partnerships with other organizations such as NGO's, colleges, international Humanitarian Organizations and municipalities.
