Youth entrepreneurship in agriculture and rural

Objectives We aim to introduce youth entrepreneurship in agriculture and rural development to rural youth & youth workers as an alternative way of entrepreneurship in rural areas. Furthermore, we aim to increase the quality in agriculture and exchange good practices regarding sustainable and ecological ways of farming, to enhance and recognize rural youth work, to strengthen the employability of rural youth and to contribute to EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 and EU Youth Goals. Activities For the visibility & dissemination of the project we will create a website. We will create a survey & a series of interviews aimed at highlighting good practices in sustainable farming methods. We will carry out two study visits, where we will see how modern olive mills & wineries work. We will set up sharing & promoting activities to disseminate the results including a training for rural youth work in connection to the topic of youth entrepreneurship in agriculture and rural development. Impact We expect young people and youth workers from rural areas to have a clear understanding of youth entrepreneurship in agriculture and rural development. Furthermore, to highlight innovative, sustainable & green practices of farming and youth entrepreneurship in agriculture as concrete results of desk and field research and study visits. Also, to increase the visibility and impact of rural youth work.
