In executing this project, we had a broader vision than simply raising awareness about water among young people. We aimed to initiate an educational movement towards sustainability and international cooperation. Our goal was to present the project to other schools and local authorities, not only as a learning opportunity but also as an invitation to join our network of schools. Within our own schools, we also hoped to create a tangible impact by changing attitudes towards water and promoting environmental responsibility. This involved everyone from teachers to families to administrative staff, among others. Furthermore, by involving families in hosting students from other countries, we were promoting enriching cultural and linguistic exchange. It wasn't just about learning about water; it was also about sharing experiences, traditions, and diverse perspectives to enhance mutual understanding and respect. In summary, our goal was not only to raise awareness but also to inspire a broader cultural and educational transformation, building a more sustainable and connected future where water and environmental care are prioritized in both education and everyday life.

One of the strengths of this project is that the activities to be carried out were very detailed and organized. These have been completed, although some modifications have been made to their design or they have been merged to create more comprehensive and enriching experiences, optimizing time and available resources. This is due to our constant attention to the interests and needs of the students at all times. The tangible results generated in these activities, such as debates, presentations, creation of educational materials, corners..., were shared on the website and social networks, amplifying the impact of the project and encouraging the participation of a wider audience. The creation of the Water-Friendly Schools Plan was a significant milestone, representing the culmination of collaborative work throughout the project and providing a solid structure for the continuity of sustainable practices in schools. Additionally, the project provided valuable opportunities for the development of language and soft skills among students, especially during mobilities, strengthening their ability for effective communication, teamwork, and critical thinking.

The results obtained are tangible and significant, reflecting the collaborative work and dedication of all those involved, and have contributed to the personal and academic development of our students' awareness of the importance of water and sustainability. Firstly, we have created a wide range of educational resources and materials, including informative posters, leaflets, brochures, padlets, presentations, themed corner creations and educational videos among others, which have been shared in our communities and through social media and the web. In addition, the Water Friendly Schools Plan has provided a practical framework for those schools that share our objectives and want to be part of our network. The performance of audits by students has allowed them to participate in first person in order to be aware of water waste and the need to seek continuous improvements. Through the mobilities, students have improved their soft and language skills, participating in debates, creating exhibitions or giving lectures to their peers, which will prepare them to face future academic and professional challenges.
