EU Ideathon
▶Summary
We applied for the EU Ideathon project because we identified the need to train VET (Vocational Education and Training) students in skills related to sustainable entrepreneurship (entrecomp framework) and the circular economy. After the COVID-19 crisis, it became evident that students needed tools and knowledge to not only enter the job market but also contribute to the green and digital transition of the economy. The needs we have addressed are: -Promoting the creation of sustainable business models among VET students, through the use of innovative tools such as ideathons and artificial intelligence. -Improving the skills of VET teachers by providing them with motivating materials to teach sustainable entrepreneurship. -Fostering the internationalization of VET centers and creating cooperation networks between educational institutions and companies, encouraging collaborative learning and the exchange of good practices. -Increasing the inclusion of students at risk of social exclusion, by giving them access to tools that allow them to actively participate in creating solutions for sustainable development.
