Objectives

The interest to explore new professional opportunities for music conservatory students through the use of new technologies and the composition of soundtracks for live performance. To do this, it was necessary to seek alliances in centers with greater experience in studio recording systems, the use of synchrony and with stage spaces suitable for this type of activities in various formats. Carry out a study of the possibilities of converting this type of work into a cultural and professional proposal

Activities

Activity 1: evaluation of levels to check the possibilities of musicians from the different centers when composing viable works from a technical point of view. Activity 2: Composition of the soundtracks in a format adaptable to different types of template that would be interpreted in subsequent phases. Activity 3:. Recording of materials by students, experimenting with different systems to synchronize the musical part with what happens on the scene. Activity 4: Representation in Scenic Montages using larger formats, we work to directly interpret the soundtracks in concerts with an audience. Activity 5: Selection of professional practices: performance in a group center, as well as in an independent place of a show with a smaller format of musicians in order to study economic viability from a professional point of view.

Impact

1. New work methodology in the three centers: thanks to cooperation, the materials are available so that each center can recover them at another time; as well as that teachers integrate this type of innovative practices into their daily teaching activity. 2. Materials with copyright transfer so that other centers can incorporate them into their proposed activities; For this we have taken advantage of our presence in the 'Music and Dance for Europe' network to disseminate our activities and have students from other countries in some of the performances.
