▶Objectives
To provide adult educators, trainers and educational staff of social care institutions with effective methods to prevent, manage and reduce aggressive behaviour of people with intellectual disabilities and/or mental illness and to develop emotional resilience skills of educators to ensure greater participation of learners in education and training, resulting in better inclusion in all areas of life. To this end, practical application materials would be created through a database with tools, methods and techniques for aggressive behaviour management, a training platform (SPOOC) with 7 modules to better understand aggressive manifestations and an application to alleviate communication with adults with intellectual disabilities and/or mental illness. In addition, to support and improve the knowledge and skills of educators through online presentations of the above materials. And, as a consequence of all the above, to contribute to a better inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities and/or mental illness in educational activities.
