Objectives

O1 Foster behavioural change in in terms of ecological practices at the individual level. This was achieved through hands-on activities, i.e., students participated in designing and implementing environmental action plans that included recycling programmes, water conservation, reducing energy consumption at school. O2 Support professional development of school teachers in project implementation. The project provided training sessions on monitoring and evaluation tools, helping teachers assess the effectiveness of environmental projects. O3 Improve the social participation of students and teachers. Through participatory workshops and the establishment of Environmental Committees, students contributed ideas for sustainability projects, which were then implemented at school, fostering critical thinking and encouraging democratic engagement in environmental decision-making. O4 Introduce alternative pedagogies related to environmental education. Teachers were trained in using innovative teaching methods that promote environmental awareness, such as using nature-based learning experiences and integrating sustainability into various subjects. These pedagogies were applied in the execution of the school's Environmental Action Plans.
