By implementing the project, we wanted to achieve the following: To strengthen the cognitive and digital skills of secondary education teachers, so that they feel confident in teaching the subject of Road Safety and Sustainable Mobility in their schools. Then, to boost students' knowledge on Road Safety issues and to promote attitudes and skills related to the safe use of the road network and sustainable choices in their transportation. To create a safe and sustainable transportation network for students and teachers to and from their school, promoting alternative modes of transportation such as walking, cycling and carpooling for more than 1 person. To finally create a network of active citizens for road safety and sustainable mobility both at a local (areas around schools) level, at a national level (school network) and at a pan-European level (exchange of good practices between partner countries).

The activities included in the project are the following: A creation of the pedagogical framework was delivered considering what secondary school students face daily on the roads, the knowledge they need to acquire for safe transportation, and the skills and attitudes they can acquire for sustainable routes. In sequence the partnership produced a collection of 20 lesson plans and a digital educational platform with the following features: a) 5 Quizzes; b) A game on Safe Cycling; c) A game on the mobility city of each country; d) A final question/evaluation of the platform Parallel to the above, two transnational training activities were carried out in Αthens (Greece) and in Zaragoza, Spain, where the training materials were evaluated and optimized by all partners. Subsequently, the trainers from each partner country built a pilot network of schools as part of the forth work package or proceeded to inform policymakers as part of the project's dissemination. Finally, 4 multiplication actions (WP5) were carried out in 3 partner countries (Spain, Hungary and Italy). The production of a comprehensive project evaluation tool was implemented and completed, which accompanied its didissemination activities and support its sustainability.
