The project aimed to adapt VET education to labour market needs by developing and testing learning modules focused on Artificial Intelligence and adapted to pre-university students. Its main goal was to provide VET teachers and students with practical competences in three key AI areas: computer vision, robotics, and ambient intelligence. A central objective was to train teachers to deliver these complex topics effectively, helping them integrate AI-related skills into their regular curricula. The project sought to transform advanced and abstract content into accessible, practice-based lessons supported by simulations and open digital tools. Each module included structured teaching units with teacher and student guides, exercises, and examples based on learning by doing, encouraging active problem-solving through programming tasks and real-world scenarios. Beyond technical content, the project aimed to promote EU priorities such as digital transformation, inclusion, and environmental sustainability, while enhancing the attractiveness and innovation of VET programmes and strengthening cooperation between universities and VET schools across Europe.
