▶Summary
Objectives Our main objectives arise from the need established in three lines: a) Give continuity to a project carried out in Erasmus + Youth “Gambling Addiction is not a game” b) Respond to ICD 11 (WHO International Classification of Diseases, which deals with video game disorder, as "a pattern of gaming behavior serious enough to cause deterioration in areas of personal, family, social, educational functioning, etc... ” c) The video game as an educational tool. Activities Our activities range from a study that quantitatively identifies what we mean by excessive video game use as leisure, physical activity games based on video game themes, collecting behaviors to recognize video game disorders, activities that allow us to stimulate video games as a tool for learning, support activities for families, which allow identifying, keeping track of and acting on the problem, directing it towards responsible use. Impact The results that we will create with our project will be easily disseminated, easy to apply digitally, and range from a report on three types of video gamers, according to the time spent, an online diagnostic test that detects video game addiction, a protocol of action before the appearance of video game misuse disorder, family support manual, video game tutorials and methodology as educational tools and a digital magazine that gathers the essence of our project.
