Summary

Objectives The general objective is to promote cultural tourism as a catalyst for attracting population, economic activity, and quality employment in rural and remote areas with high levels of depopulation and/or economic and social depression. The aim of this project is to provide a training opportunity for the young men and women who live in these areas so that they acquire the necessary skills that will allow them to exploit the possibilities of entrepreneurship in cultural tourism. Activities The project will develop the following activities: -Participation in Tirana Youth Capital 2022. -Identification of the best practices that serve as an example to young men and women to re-energize the rural environment. -Training course on creativity for the development of cultural tourism in rural areas. -Piloting of the collaborative platform by 150 young people. -Five local seminars. -International meeting in Turkey with representatives of local municipalities. Impact The main results of the projects will be: - A training manual for young people on creativity for the development of cultural tourism in rural areas. - A collaborative platform and a virtual interactive network. - Guidelines for policy recommendations on the development of cultural tourism in rural areas. The objective is that the 150 young people who participate in piloting the platform acquire skills related to creativity and entrepreneurship in cultural tourism.
