▶Objectives
By implementing this project, we aim to achieve several key goals. We strive to develop and provide materials, guides, instructions, and ready-made course templates, all available for free on the project's website. As partners of the EDaMVET project, our goal is to promote digital and mobile vocational education by creating engaging, accessible, and comprehensive digital content integrated with Moodle and H5P technology. Given that many young people primarily use mobile devices, it was essential to prioritize the optimization of materials for mobile Moodle. We offer practical examples, guides, and free support materials, as well as webinars, workshops, and short training sessions to help educators acquire the skills necessary for effective digital teaching. By promoting mobile use and digital literacy, we intend to make vocational training more flexible and interesting for students. Additionally, we strive to create scalable (i.e.suitable for mobile use) materials and models for project implementation and to strengthen cooperation within our networks.
▶Activities
In the project, we implemented several key measures to ensure its success. We organized joint workshops and webinars for teachers and Moodle experts from partner organizations. Each country also conducted short, flexible training sessions tailored to their specific needs, and we involved industry experts in live training sessions to guarantee high-quality and comprehensive information transfer. Monthly online meetings were held to review the project's progress and plan subsequent tasks. We also met in person three times, during which we conducted workshops to promote the project and share best practices. Feedback surveys were administered to students at the beginning and end of the project, providing valuable insights for its development. We produced various materials, including guides, ready-made course templates, and teaching resources for staff. These materials are compiled on a centralized platform that is freely accessible to everyone. Throughout the project, each partner was tasked with promoting the initiative within their own networks and actively marketing it. At the project's conclusion, a multi-event presentation was organized to showcase the project's website and present the final results.
▶Impact
The EDaMVET project offers several valuable content outputs. We have developed a ready-made website that includes attractive and educational graphics that enhance the learning material with visual elements designed to support and enrich the educational content. The course content of the Moodle platform has been developed and refined to ensure user-friendliness and accessibility. We also offer enhanced Moodle resources that include advanced features and tools to improve engagement and interaction. The support materials are free to download and are designed to help teachers use digital tools effectively in vocational education. In addition, real-life examples and case studies illustrate best practices in digital and mobile vocational training. The pedagogical handbook gives additional instructions on teaching strategies. In May, we organized a multiple event webinar where we presented the project's website and the materials there. The webinar featured several international keynote speakers, which increased the impact of the event. The workshops, webinars and short training events organized during the project were significant in increasing the special skills and expertise of teachers and Moodle users, as well as spreading expertise.
