Objectives

In nearly ten years of Metropolitan Seminars, many written outputs have been produced, but they were scattered and not easily accessible to the public. It therefore became necessary to consolidate all the intellectual productions into booklets. A common framework for reading and analysis across all these booklets was established through a fruitful collaboration between an academic approach (UPC) and a professional one (Avitem). This methodological rigor now makes all the work understandable for a professional audience, researchers, students, or simply informed citizens. The six completed booklets represent a rich resource for sharing, which will continue to follow the same model for other metropolises studied in future seminars. A dissemination strategy on the internet and the creation of an initial scientific community are concrete steps towards sharing this work.
