Objectives

We wanted to make our students more attractive and competitive on the European job market. To do this, we set ourselves the following problem: how can we effectively integrate the job market in a world undergoing a dual digital and ecological transition? Our main objective was to improve the skills of young BTS (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur) and FP (Formación Profesional) students, so that they become more competent, attractive and competitive. We then identified these needs: To integrate successfully into the European job market, we need to... -know ourselves -maximize our experience and mobility develop our linguistic, cultural and cross-disciplinary skills -know the job market -find the right job for us -be engaged citizens in a world undergoing a dual digital and ecological transition.

Activities

We organized our project into 6 stages: -Meeting 1: Meeting with our teams in Spain, at IES El Lago. Launch of the project. -Seminar 1: French students immersed in Spain. French and Spanish students took part in a wide range of professional activities, creating content for teaching purposes. -Meeting 2: meeting with the French team at CaenSup Sainte-Ursule. Review of Seminar 1 and preparation for Seminar 2. -Seminar 2: Spanish students immersed in France. Spanish and French students took part in a wide range of professional activities, creating content for teaching purposes. -Meeting 3: finalization of content and final dissemination. -Red thread: Various distance learning activities (language tests, pair/group work, creation of educational content).

Impact

The concrete achievements of our project are visible: 1) Posters available in our schools and from partners. 2) A Padlet containing teaching resources that meet each of the needs we identified throughout our project. A QR Code links the posters to our digital content. They were created by our students, who designed them as they would have liked to receive them. We're also delighted that they've gone beyond the school environment, as they're now being used in a number of Missions Locales, which are dedicated to helping young people find their way into the world of work. Our posters, like our content, are free to use. So we wanted them to be clear, legible and easily adaptable. Note that almost all content is available in 2 languages, with the specificities that this entails. This is by no means a simple translation. The contribution is as much linguistic as it is cultural. The productions are now used as cross-disciplinary teaching resources, and contact with professionals has strengthened the school-business link.
