The project aims to establish, through the implementation of its activities, a clear link between higher education courses and the future professional needs of graduates and with the updated needs of the labor market by: - Strengthening the CDL of higher education students, especially future teachers, IT specialists, medical professionals, journalists and semioticians; - Identifying the democratic assets of higher education institutions and how they are threatened by misinformation; - Changing current teaching practices in higher education by adopting student-centered teaching strategies that promote web-based research and learning, while proposing a new program to raise students' awareness of misinformation and their CDL.

In this first half of the project, data was collected by means of interviews, official reports and a review of the relevant literature. The best CDL teaching practices in the academic world and the professional sectors concerned were identified in order to specify quality indicators. Based on these results, a European higher education matrix for teaching CDL for misinformation purposes was developed. To test this guide, a series of curricula were developed and tested in practice in the HEIs involved in the project. Through this testing and the use of evaluation tools, the curricula were evaluated, revised and improved. Moreover, a powerful and interactive e-toolkit was created for other educators interested in using the curricula and educational material produced. For the project’s dissemination, a website and social networking accounts have been created, 6 multiplier events and an international conference took place hosted by all partners. The consortium met for four face-to-face transnational project meetings in France, Estonia, Poland and Greece. In addition to these face-to-face meetings, the online meetings provided a forum for sharing information, organising the implementation of activities, strengthening team collaboration.

All results promised in the proposal have been produced: - A comprehensive literature review on efforts against misinformation at national (for all countries represented in the project) and European (EU) levels. - A framework of CDL skills, including the skills needed to remain critical in the face of all information. - An interactive matrix of quality assurance criteria for teaching critical digital literacy in the face of misinformation. - The minutes of each face-to-face and online management meeting. - The website dedicated to disseminating the project's activities and results - The project's social media account to reach the widest possible audience - The curricula: a general curriculum and three specific ones - The evaluation report of courses’ implementation - The Anthology
