The project aimed to provide a new way of learning French maritime terminology by offering a comprehensive, innovative and open-source digital platform. Specific objectives included: • Promoting linguistic diversity: the learning of maritime French had to be strengthened to meet the communication needs in a multilingual environment on board ships. • Modernising maritime education: the learning platform had to integrate interactive features and adapted educational resources, allowing for independent or supervised learning. • Strengthening professional skills: by providing precise reference materials and glossaries, the project aimed to improve the capacities of students and professionals to meet the requirements of the job market. • Facilitating transnational cooperation: the project had to create a framework for exchange between European higher maritime education institutions, promoting the sharing of good practices and the development of innovative educational tools.

Several activities were implemented to ensure the success of the project: • Development of educational content: 6 curricula were developed, covering the following themes: naval engineering, maritime and port logistics, and ship and cargo handling. These reference documents were accompanied by interactive glossaries in French and English. • Creation of a digital platform: the learning platform was developed on the Moodle model, with an intuitive user interface, including 44 interactive modules and features facilitating learner autonomy. • Joint training: 3 training sessions were organised for teachers and students in the project's partner countries to test the tools, allowing direct feedback on the quality of the content and tools. • Organisation of public and open events: 3 events made it possible to present the results to stakeholders in the maritime sector, generating fruitful discussions on the project's contributions and enabling communication around the project. • Project management: regular transnational meetings ensured rigorous monitoring of activities and effective coordination between partners.
