▶Objectives
Faced with the current context of rising extremes, wars near and far, and global warming, we wanted to defend European humanist values, and show our pupils that in Europe, openness to others and solidarity are absolutely essential, and that reconnecting with nature is a guarantee of our humanity. Based on the Bauhaus and on the European New Bauhaus, which updates its values, our project promoted democratic values and aimed to build an inclusive, supportive and civic-minded Europe. Our ambition was to raise awareness of the Bauhaus as part of Europe's cultural heritage, to understand how it has been transformed in today's world and to collectively reinvent new ways of living, building, creating, understanding urban planning and architecture, and learning in Europe. We wanted our students to experience creativity as an opportunity to work together to shape the Europe of tomorrow. We wanted to engage students in a creative process of co-construction to shape the future and give substance to these values. We also wanted to develop an innovative pedagogical approach and promote the school outside the classroom.
