▶Objectives
The project aimed to deconstruct gender stereotypes in schools, identified as a key factor shaping social, educational, and professional inequalities. Its objectives included raising students’ awareness of the social construction of gender, promoting gender balance and equality in career choices, and preventing sexist behaviors from an early age. The project also sought to train teachers and educational staff to integrate gender equality into their practices, by providing them with methodological and pedagogical tools. Finally, the project aimed to develop transversal skills (cooperation, critical thinking, citizenship, interculturality) among all participants, to strengthen ties between universities and schools, and to build a European network of stakeholders committed to equality between girls and boys.
▶Activities
The implementation of the project relied on educational, scientific (field research), and organizational activities closely aligned with its objectives. Physical mobilities formed the core of the project, bringing together teachers, educational staff, and students for training sessions combining theoretical input, practical workshops, and intercultural exchanges. Virtual activities broadened participation, ensured continuity, and facilitated the dissemination of outcomes across partner institutions. Innovative teaching methods (collaborative workshops, creative productions) actively engaged participants, stimulated critical thinking, and fostered intercultural and civic skills. At the same time, qualitative and quantitative surveys contributed to the development of pedagogical and scientific content. The main deliverables include two training manuals, a digital board game, a blog, an escape game, a theatrical performance, and several scientific publications, all designed to be reusable and transferable.
