Developing Vocational Education Training Programme Compatible with Metaverse and NFT Production
▶Summary
The Covid-19 pandemic and the full closures implemented during this period affected the artists and the creative community the most economically. It was seen that artistic activities such as virtual exhibitions and digital art works were not sufficient, and the artists sought different ways. Meanwhile, the rapidly spreading blockchain and metaverse craze has spawned NFT production and sales. However, at this point, it has been revealed that the talent development or digital art education given in academies is not sufficient. In addition, with the impact of AI tools and developments in the last few years, the interaction and circulation in this field has reached a point that cannot be ignored. In a world that is rapidly digitalizing and facing different challenges, Les Creatives, EKA and Cru Cowork; represent the artist and creative community, EFTA which offers digital education solutions, EDI; which develop innovative training programs came together and established a partnership consortium to open a new field of activity for artists and to develop the vocational training program they need in this field.
▶Objectives
Digi-Art project aims to develop a vocational education and training program to teach and disseminate. Digi-Art aims to; * inform artists about digital arts such as Artificial Intelligence, VR & AR, Metaverse, NFT production etc. * develop digital technology skills and literacy of artists to improve the interdisciplinary working skills of artists * to enable young artists to catch up with the trends in digital art and update themselves * enhance the resilience of creative communities against changing economic, social, and technological conditions * develop a VET program compatible with digitalizing sectoral activities * establish a digital-art community
