โถObjectives
By implementing this project, we wanted to modernize the teaching process of maritime law at maritime colleges and raise the professional competences of teachers who teach maritime law and related subjects. A modern teaching process primarily involves digital teaching materials, easily accessible to everyone. Students of maritime colleges should be distinguished from students of law colleges and teaching materials should be designed primarily to cover the entire content, and also to be easy to adopt for all those who do not have a sufficient level of previous legal education. All of the above has been achieved by this project. On the other hand, since maritime is an extremely dynamic branch of the economy, which is continuously experiencing changes in the form of technical progress and more modern regulations regulating maritime activities, the professional knowledge of teachers needs to be continuously upgraded, especially in areas that have undergone significant changes in recent years (safety, security, labor relations of seafarers, port law, etc.). Only a teacher who monitors the development of the profession can adequately prepare a future seafarer for contemporary trends in the maritime industry.
