Objectives

The main objective of the project was to establish an international cross-border partnership to support the labour market and social reintegration of addicts, to launch methodological developments related to the topic, to integrate them into the professional practice of the organisation and to broaden the possibilities of support work with this target group. A strong emphasis was placed on enhancing the labour market competences of addicts, which in fact also means the development and enhancement of transversal and life skills. The project was implemented through the synergy of the methodology of support work and adult education. In addition to the immediate target group, it was aimed at developing the professional/individual competences of the professionals involved, implementing a strategic partnership, expanding and developing the professional areas of the organisations in partnership, maturing the development of long-term international relations, and implementing cross-border partnerships and networking. All these activities have certainly increased the management capacity of the organisations (international project implementation), which can have a positive impact on the organisational culture and the organisation.
