Your Heart Beats aimed to support adult educators at risk of burnout and their disadvantaged adult learners (unemployed, seniors, ASD) through a dual approach: 2*7 days of residential learning activities and an online course with mentoring and dissemination. This initiative was designed to strengthen and empower educators and learners, offering effective learning and training methods to sustain their professions. It involved sharing high-quality adult education practices developed over the last 5-10 years by the eight expert partners and employing the Tamalpa facilitation method. This exchange of experiences aimed to improve the quality of adult education, increase resilience and well-being, draft sustainable career paths, and develop professional work in partner organizations. Your Heart Beats integrated innovative methods, combining the best practices from all partners. It emphasized local adaptation, offering a collection of easy-to-use tools and an online resilience course. These were designed to integrate training elements into the lives of adult educators and learners, and subsequently into their organizations.
