▶Objectives
The main goal of the project is to improve the number and the quality of volunteers participating in the preparation, organization and implementation of orienteering events, through the following objectives. Firstly, we wanted to identify the training needs of volunteers, the available and missing training materials and teaching methods that can be used. Secondly, we wanted to make optimal combinations of these needs-methods-materials-participants and test the theory through various pilot actions. Finally, after the evaluation we wanted to share our findings with organizations working in the field of training volunteers for orienteering event organizers.
