We aimed to address specific issues impacting the efficiency and transparency of resident training in Hungary and Slovakia. The project targeted the following key needs: 1. Addressing Information Gaps in Resident Training Residents in both countries reported significant gaps in the availability of information about external training sites. These deficiencies were particularly identified in the following areas: Content of Professional Training: Limited details on the training opportunities provided by specific sites. Application Process: Lack of access to essential administrative information, such as deadlines, requirements, and procedures. 2. Development of Quality Assurance Systems The project participants set the goal of supporting the creation of more effective quality assurance systems within the institutions responsible for resident training. This would enable residents to make informed decisions when selecting training sites and ensure that the training process aligns more closely with labor market requirements. 3. Strengthening Digital Information Practices To address information gaps, the development of modern, digital-based communication tools and methods was essential. The primary goal of the project was to achieve significant progress in the transparency and efficiency of healthcare vocational training by collecting best practices and preparing participants effectively. The collaboration focused not only on improving existing systems but also on laying the foundation for long-term international cooperation and knowledge sharing. The project aimed to ensure that hospitals provide clear, accurate, and up-to-date information about external training sites in an easily accessible format for residents. Special attention was given to making relevant details about the training content, application processes, and available support readily available. This supports residents in making well-informed decisions when designing their training plans. Additionally, our goal was to enable the participating organizations to gain valuable experience in implementing an international collaboration, establishing a solid foundation for future joint efforts.
