Certified Corporate Sustainability Management Training in CEE

The original project objective was to build a comprehensive training content for company decision makers on sustainable operation based on the CSM training of GBSA (lead partner). The needs we addressed were: - climate change, support companies in green transition - knowledge gap of company decision makers to be filled We planned to (1) adapt the Certified Sustainability Management (CSM) course of GBSA to Slovak and Czech circumstances, and (2) to develop industry specific training courses for 6 pre-selected industries by GBSA and Fair Ventures. To ensure adaptability of the content to other nations/industries we planned to prepare a methodology guide. We also aimed to build an international community for CSM managers, experts in sustainability, and those who are interested in corporate green management. For this we aimed to create an online platform.

The objective of the project was to provide training content for company managers of multiple levels on sustainability issues, to contribute to the existence of sustainability manager position in local companies in HU, SK and CZ. The training has 2 parts: - Basic training on corporate sustainability (based on CSM training of GBSA-HU) adapted to CZ and SK - Industry specific modules in 6 industries defined by needs analysis. - Methodology background for teachers/trainers who participate in content development, or would like to adapt the content in the future - To create an online platform to share knowledge in the field of sustainable management
